Argentina – Fundación Germinare

Foundación Germinare is an initiative which helps combat inequality by placing vulnerable, talented kids into quality schools. More than 40 children can now get scholarships to good schools, increasing their prospects and horizons.

We were delighted to make our first presentation with Foundación Germinare, which carried out online through zoom. Everyone was attentive and eager to learn that their future may be brighter.

Special thanks to our guest speaker: Nayeli Cardozo, for taking the time to explain the importance of preparing for college early. She is from Santiago del Estero, Argentina, and is currently studying at Harvard University with a full scholarship. She talked about the application process, obtaining financial aid and life in college, captivating the audience, as evidenced by the hour-long Q&A.

We look forward to seeing the Germinare students get involved with our project.

Pesquería, Mexico – Escuela Técnica Roberto Rocca

ETRR is the only school in Mexico that provides high-level academic education to the community. The strategic principles of this institution are academic excellence, comprehensive training, integration with the industry and the community, and the use of state-of-the-art technology.

Through this 40 minute assembly, we explained the importance of continuing the education process up to university, showing possible opportunities in the US, Europe and Mexico, which will allow them to thrive in life. We emphasised how universities offer many different forms of financial aid, keen on spreading awareness on the ongoing initiatives which aim to solve the economical problems. We also precisely outlined how to start the application process, for both universities and financial aid, such as through the CSS profile, via the College Board.

Our team is grateful to the ETRR for giving us this opportunity and we hope to have convinced the students to prepare to apply to their dream universities.

Bologna, Italy – Flash Giovani

We have proudly collaborated with Flash Giovani, an organization from the municipality of Bologna. This marked the start of our journey in Italy, where we talked about all the benefits of studying abroad, with all the financial aid opportunities.

Campana, Argentina – Escuela Técnica Roberto Rocca

We are happy to have done another presentation in collaboration with the Roberto Rocca group of engineering schools. This group of students was in their senior year, and already in the final process of applying to university, so our session focused on graduate studies, overseas opportunities, and employment markets.

Thank you to Lisandro and Nicolás, the two brilliant students who helped us set up the event.

Florence, Italy – Liceo Machiavelli Capponi

In our inaugural meeting for 2024, we connected with students from the public Liceo Machiavelli Capponi in Florence. They were super motivated and enthusiastic about the Financial Aid opportunities they previously didn’t know about. Their questions were very intriguing, with the Q&A session lasting over an hour.

We hope to be able to collaborate with them again in the future!
